"Why not just buy a $60 scanner?"

A $60 scanner reads today's trouble codes. VeriCAN cross-examines every computer in the car — mileage in every module, airbag history, swapped ECUs, wiped codes — and hands you the evidence in writing. And the scanners that claim mileage checks charge ~$100/year in subscriptions on top of the hardware. VeriCAN Unlimited is $29.99/year — every car you buy or own; one caught rollback saves the average buyer $3,300 (Carfax odometer study, Dec 2025).

How accurate is this? We report evidence from the vehicle's own modules — findings, not verdicts — and when the car is clean, we say clean. Read our honesty note in the FAQ.

Formats & Adapters

We accept .csv, .blf (Binary Logging Format), .asc (ASCii), .log, and .txt files. Most OBD-II apps and professional scanners can export in one of these formats. If you're unsure, our upload page includes format-specific instructions.

We recommend a Veepeak OBDCheck BLE (or Vgate iCar Pro) adapter. Avoid cheap clones — they often can't read all CAN protocols. You can also upload logs exported from professional scanners like Autel, Launch, or Snap-on if you already own one.
