How VeriCAN handles your data.

Last updated: July 24, 2026

1. Who We Are & Scope

This Privacy Policy explains how M&M Partner Solutions ("VeriCAN," "we," "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use getverican.com, our support chat at chat.getverican.com, and the VeriCAN analysis service. It is written to satisfy the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended (CCPA/CPRA) and similar U.S. state privacy laws. Questions or requests: info@mmpartnersolutions.com.

2. Information We Collect

We collect only what we need to run the service:

  • Contact information — your name and email address, used to deliver your report and receipts.
  • Payment information — processed entirely by Stripe, our payment processor. We receive confirmation of payment and the last digits/brand of your card; we never see or store your full card number.
  • Uploaded vehicle data — the CAN bus log files you upload, which may include the vehicle's VIN and diagnostic/usage data. Where a VIN or vehicle data is linked to you, we treat it as personal information.
  • Chat transcripts — messages you send to our support chat (answered by an AI assistant).
  • Usage and device data — basic analytics such as pages visited, browser type, and approximate region, plus cookies described in Section 8.

3. How We Use Information

We use this information to: analyze your uploaded data and generate and email your reports; process payments and manage subscriptions; provide customer support; secure the service and prevent fraud and abuse; improve our analysis engine and site; and comply with legal obligations. We do not use your personal information for targeted advertising.

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share it only with:

  • Service providers — Stripe (payments), our website and data hosting providers, our email delivery provider, and our support chat platform. They may use your information only to provide services to us.
  • Legal requirements — if required by law, subpoena, or to protect rights, safety, or the integrity of the service.
  • Business transfers — if our business is sold or merged, your information may transfer as part of that transaction under the same protections.

5. Data Retention

We keep uploaded logs and generated reports so we can support you and re-deliver reports on request, and we keep purchase records as required for tax and accounting purposes. You can ask us to delete your uploaded data and reports at any time (Section 6); we will delete them except where the law requires us to keep specific records, and we delete or de-identify data we no longer need.

6. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your state (including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, Virginia, and others), you may have the right to:

  • Know / access the personal information we hold about you and receive a copy of it.
  • Correct inaccurate personal information.
  • Delete your personal information, subject to legal exceptions.
  • Opt out of sales, sharing for targeted advertising, and certain profiling — we do none of these, so there is nothing to opt out of, but you may still submit a request.
  • Non-discrimination — we will never penalize you for exercising these rights.

To exercise any right, email info@mmpartnersolutions.com from the address associated with your purchase (or describe your request so we can verify you). We will verify your identity, respond within 45 days (extendable as the law allows), and you may use an authorized agent. If we deny a request, you may appeal by replying to our response, and we will explain the outcome.

7. Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

We do not sell personal information, and we have not sold personal information in the preceding 12 months. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. Because we do not sell or share, no opt-out action is needed; if that ever changes, we will update this policy and provide a clear opt-out first.

8. Cookies & Analytics

The site uses essential cookies needed for it to function (including the support chat widget) and basic analytics to understand aggregate usage. We do not use advertising trackers. You can control cookies through your browser settings; blocking essential cookies may affect the chat widget.

9. Security

Uploaded logs and generated reports are encrypted in transit and at rest, and access to customer data is restricted to personnel who need it to operate the service. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affecting your personal information occurs, we will notify you as required by law.

10. Children

The service is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us personal information, email us and we will delete it.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the service or the law changes; the "Last updated" date above always reflects the current version. For material changes, we will notify customers by email or a prominent site notice before the change takes effect.
